Necrosis of a pulmonary lobe in a dog. A six-year old female pug had very severe dysponea. A radiographic opacity was observed in the right cranial area of the thorax. After thoracotomy, the cranial lobe of the lung was removed. Microscopic examination revealed necrosis of the lung and vacular thrombosis. The possibility of a torsion of the affected lobe is discussed.
