In most of the hCoVs described, these S trimers are found in a naturally closed conformation, however, this mechanism also causes a delay in the process of cell infection due to the need for major changes in the glycoprotein conformation. It was described that, in SARS-CoV-2, the S trimers seem to exist in a partially open state, which prevents recognition by the immune system, but accelerates the initiation of conformational changes in the receptor and the processes of binding and fusion (49).","tracks":[{"project":"LitCovid-sentences","denotations":[{"id":"T105","span":{"begin":0,"end":260},"obj":"Sentence"},{"id":"T106","span":{"begin":261,"end":499},"obj":"Sentence"},{"id":"T107","span":{"begin":500,"end":760},"obj":"Sentence"}],"namespaces":[{"prefix":"_base","uri":"http://pubannotation.org/ontology/tao.owl#"}],"attributes":[{"subj":"T105","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-sentences"},{"subj":"T106","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-sentences"},{"subj":"T107","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-sentences"}]},{"project":"LitCovid-PubTator","denotations":[{"id":"728","span":{"begin":542,"end":543},"obj":"Gene"},{"id":"729","span":{"begin":557,"end":559},"obj":"Gene"},{"id":"730","span":{"begin":25,"end":29},"obj":"Species"},{"id":"731","span":{"begin":526,"end":536},"obj":"Species"},{"id":"732","span":{"begin":569,"end":570},"obj":"Gene"},{"id":"733","span":{"begin":391,"end":392},"obj":"Gene"},{"id":"734","span":{"begin":322,"end":323},"obj":"Gene"},{"id":"735","span":{"begin":34,"end":35},"obj":"Gene"},{"id":"736","span":{"begin":36,"end":42},"obj":"Chemical"},{"id":"737","span":{"begin":417,"end":431},"obj":"Disease"}],"attributes":[{"id":"A728","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"728","obj":"Gene:43740568"},{"id":"A729","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"729","obj":"Gene:6999"},{"id":"A730","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"730","obj":"Tax:11118"},{"id":"A731","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"731","obj":"Tax:2697049"},{"id":"A732","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"732","obj":"Gene:351"},{"id":"A733","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"733","obj":"Gene:351"},{"id":"A734","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"734","obj":"Gene:351"},{"id":"A735","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"735","obj":"Gene:351"},{"id":"A736","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"736","obj":"MESH:D011134"},{"id":"A737","pred":"tao:has_database_id","subj":"737","obj":"MESH:D007239"},{"subj":"728","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"729","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"730","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"731","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"732","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"733","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"734","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"735","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"736","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"},{"subj":"737","pred":"source","obj":"LitCovid-PubTator"}],"namespaces":[{"prefix":"Tax","uri":"https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/taxonomy/"},{"prefix":"MESH","uri":"https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/"},{"prefix":"Gene","uri":"https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/"},{"prefix":"CVCL","uri":"https://web.expasy.org/cellosaurus/CVCL_"}]}],"config":{"attribute types":[{"pred":"source","value type":"selection","values":[{"id":"LitCovid-sentences","color":"#93d0ec","default":true},{"id":"LitCovid-PubTator","color":"#eaec93"}]}]}}
