Spontaneous rupture of collateral venous aneurysm in a patient with agenesis of the inferior vena cava: a case report. We present a case of rupture of collateral venous vessels in the presence of agenesis of the inferior vena cava in a young woman. The embryologic development, pitfalls in diagnosis, and options for treatment in cases with agenesis of the inferior vena cava are discussed.
