In addition, persistent AF itself is an independent predictor of recurrence, and catheter ablation has reduced success compared with PAF.268 Success rates vary according to the heterogeneity of the patient population and ablation strategies that are encompassed under the umbrella “non-PAF.” It is now increasingly well recognized that the duration of continuous AF is an important predictor of the efficacy of AF ablation. Patients with continuous AF of 12 months or less duration are very different from patients who have been in continuous AF for years.","tracks":[{"project":"2_test","denotations":[{"id":"28506916-20500237-45816407","span":{"begin":286,"end":289},"obj":"20500237"},{"id":"28506916-20500237-45816407","span":{"begin":286,"end":289},"obj":"20500237"},{"id":"T3675","span":{"begin":286,"end":289},"obj":"20500237"},{"id":"T76317","span":{"begin":286,"end":289},"obj":"20500237"},{"id":"T63674","span":{"begin":286,"end":289},"obj":"20500237"},{"id":"T94026","span":{"begin":286,"end":289},"obj":"20500237"}],"attributes":[{"subj":"28506916-20500237-45816407","pred":"source","obj":"2_test"},{"subj":"28506916-20500237-45816407","pred":"source","obj":"2_test"},{"subj":"T3675","pred":"source","obj":"2_test"},{"subj":"T76317","pred":"source","obj":"2_test"},{"subj":"T63674","pred":"source","obj":"2_test"},{"subj":"T94026","pred":"source","obj":"2_test"}]}],"config":{"attribute types":[{"pred":"source","value type":"selection","values":[{"id":"2_test","color":"#e093ec","default":true}]}]}}
