We chose the CHB+JPT HapMap panel, included our regulatory SNPs, chose r2 = 0.8 and used default settings for all other parameters. We also selected SNPs in the IL-22 gene region that are reported to be associated with disease. The functional, tagged, and selected SNPs are shown in Supplementary Table S4.
