Electron-transfer through potential gradient based on a dendrimer architecture. A dendritic nano-shell based on rigid phenylazomethine units can rectify electron transfer. By use of this function, the photo-induced charge separation was significantly enhanced due to the facilitated and stabilized radical ion pair.
