DI type 3 is an anomaly characterized by infolding of enamel and dentin extending into the root apex. This may present difficulties when forming a diagnosis and treatment plan. Many treatment modalities have been presented in case reports for DI type 3, but there is insufficient evidence to recommend a therapy. This case report presents the successful nonsurgical root canal treatment of a maxillary canine with an open apex DI type 3, necrotic pulp, and an associated large periradicular lesion.","tracks":[{"project":"Allie","denotations":[{"id":"SS1_23130065_1_0","span":{"begin":63,"end":80},"obj":"expanded"},{"id":"SS2_23130065_1_0","span":{"begin":82,"end":84},"obj":"abbr"}],"relations":[{"id":"AE1_23130065_1_0","pred":"abbreviatedTo","subj":"SS1_23130065_1_0","obj":"SS2_23130065_1_0"}],"attributes":[{"subj":"SS1_23130065_1_0","pred":"source","obj":"Allie"},{"subj":"SS2_23130065_1_0","pred":"source","obj":"Allie"}]},{"project":"PubmedHPO","denotations":[{"id":"T1","span":{"begin":63,"end":67},"obj":"HP_0011088"},{"id":"T2","span":{"begin":105,"end":125},"obj":"HP_0000164"}],"attributes":[{"subj":"T1","pred":"source","obj":"PubmedHPO"},{"subj":"T2","pred":"source","obj":"PubmedHPO"}]}],"config":{"attribute types":[{"pred":"source","value type":"selection","values":[{"id":"Allie","color":"#93c5ec","default":true},{"id":"PubmedHPO","color":"#dfec93"}]}]}}
