This could further improve the reproducibility of the fragment analysis and lead to a reduction of the search space for every fragment. As discussed above, this parameter is directly linked to the throughput of the method. In addition, DADA would profit from the higher throughput of capillary electrophoresis compared to the gel electrophoresis used in this study. On the other hand, values created by mass spectrometry are precisely predictable from the sequence of DNA fragments [29].
