All interventions (social distancing, school closures/lockdown) had a significant impact on the reproductive number for COVID-19 in the SW. We predict that prior to any interventions R was 2.6 (95% CrI 2.0 to 3.2), and the introduction of social distancing reduced this number to 2.3 (95% CrI 1.8 to 2.9).
