The templates were chosen according to i) sequence similarity; ii) global model quality estimate (GMQE) value [24]. GMQE is a quality estimation method combining properties from the target–template alignment and the template search method. GMQE value is expressed as a number between 0 and 1: the higher the value, the higher the reliability; iii) qualitative model energy analysis (QMEAN) value [25, 26]. QMEAN is a composite estimator based on different geometrical properties that provide global and local absolute quality estimates based on one single model.
