The concentration of fatty acids in the diets or liver was determined by gas chromatography (GC) after an organic extraction and its derivatization to methyl esters. The samples were injected into a DB-225 MS 30 m × 0.25 mm × 0.25 µm analytical column (Agilent, Santa Clara, CA, USA) coupled to an auto-sampler (Agilent 6850)."}
