This includes 8,801 Primary Health Centres; 6,795 Health Sub-centres (HSC) and 1,553 Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) converted to HWCs.\n2019–20 25,000 additional AB-HWCs to be set up with all UPHC to be converted to HWCs in the financial year. A total of 38,595 HWCs were set up by 31 March 2020\n31 December 2022 Indian states to have 150,000 functional AB-HWCs in the country"}
