Only three trials mentioned the blinding process. For selective reporting, we made judgements by comparing the outcome measures mentioned in the methods section with the results from the original references: all trials were evaluated as low risk. Only four trials mentioned the drop-out of patients. No trial provided a pre-trial sample size estimation.
