[65]. It is not clear whether the flows envisaged in the glymphatic hypothesis are sufficiently larger that they should produce observable asymmetry in the spread of markers. Comparison of the flow required if glymphatic circulation accounts for the movement of markers like inulin through the perivascular spaces (0.6 µL g−1 min−1 or more as discussed above) and the largest flow that could have been missed by Smith et al.
