Primary cilia identified by ARL13B antibodies were of normal length in affected individuals (mean length = 5.9, 7.8, and 6.8 μm in II:1, II:4, and II:5, respectively) and control individuals (mean length = 5.7 and 6.0 μm in the parents and 6.1 μm in the unaffected sibling), and there were no significant differences between the two groups (Figure S2). There was also no difference in the percentage of ciliation rates between affected and control fibroblasts (Figure S2). Scanning electron microscopy confirmed these findings of no significant changes in cilia length or structural appearance (Figure S3).","tracks":[]}
