The prevalence of ADHD among the normal controls was 8.9% (95% CI: 7.9–10.1%, z = -35.0, df = 3, τ2 = 0.004, I2 = 22.59). Figure 2 demonstrates the results of four studies which compared the prevalence of ADHD between patients with IA and controls. The proportion of patients with ADHD was significantly higher in the IA group than in the control group (pooled OR 2.85, 95% CI: 2.15-3.77, z = 7.27, P \u003c 0.001).
