As shown in Table 1, the association is significant at a p-value of 0.0343, with OR = 0.694 (95% CI = 0.494–0.975). Analysis on the pooled data (479 cases and 358 controls) showed even more significant association at a p-value of 0.0086, with OR = 0.653 (95% CI = 0.449–0.896).
