The chemokine receptors are G protein-coupled receptors with a conserved seven hydrophobic transmembrane structure and an extracellular N-terminus and intracellular C-terminus. The C-terminus is known to be involved in signalling following binding of the ligand, however there seems to be no consistent ligand binding mechanism. The chemokines studied to date use various combinations of the N-terminus and different extracellular loops of the transmembrane complex in order to bind the receptor [6].","tracks":[{"project":"2_test","denotations":[{"id":"20642824-17024562-10067619","span":{"begin":749,"end":750},"obj":"17024562"}],"attributes":[{"subj":"20642824-17024562-10067619","pred":"source","obj":"2_test"}]}],"config":{"attribute types":[{"pred":"source","value type":"selection","values":[{"id":"2_test","color":"#9eec93","default":true}]}]}}
