Infectious complications\n(1) Nosocomial pneumonia: defined as those infections \t\t\t diagnosed after the first 48h of a patients hospitalization, neither present or \t\t\t incubating at admission, or meeting CDC criteria.\n(2) Bacteremia or sepsis: bacteremia defined as the \t\t\t presence of viable bacteria in the blood. Sepsis defined as the systemic \t\t\t response to infection, manifested by two or more of the following conditions as \t\t\t a result of infection: (1) temperature \u003e 38°C or \u003c 36°C; (2) \t\t\t heart rate \u003e 90 beats per minute; (3) respiratory rate \u003e 20 breaths per \t\t\t minute or PaCO2 \u003c 32mmHg; and white blood cell count \t\t\t \u003e 12000/mm3, \u003c 4000/mm3, or \u003e 10% immature (band) \t\t\t forms.","divisions":[{"label":"Title","span":{"begin":0,"end":27}}],"tracks":[]}
