Some of these analyses are labor intensive, which means that only small numbers of isolates can be analyzed. Using the DGGE method, we identified numerous coryneform species in cheese samples, including Corynebacterium variabile, Corynebacterium mastitidis, Corynebacterium casei, Arthrobacter species, and Brevibacterium linens.
