Wen et al. 188  reported abietane‐type diterpenoids and lignoids with a powerful anti‐SARS‐CoV‐1 Mpro effect. Especially betulinic acid (143) and savinin (144) effectively inhibited SARS‐CoV‐1 Mpro (K i 8.2 µM, 9.1 µM, respectively) (Figure 33). These inhibitors acted in a competitive manner.
