The suspected samples were collected and transported to the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Institute of Virology (ICMR-NIV), Pune, for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2. The specimens of the positive cases were diagnosed with real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)-specific for SARS-CoV-2 using the protocol published by the WHO13 and characterized by complete genome sequencing and epitope prediction analyses. These sequences were also compared with the available GenBank sequences to monitor the mutations and understand their relation with other known SARS-CoV-2 available in the public database. Here, we report molecular characterization of SARS-CoV-2 sequences from three positive cases.
