Funding for neglected diseases Global funding for research and product development for neglected diseases reached a record high of $4.0 billion in 2018 according to the 2019 G-FINDER survey, which reports on global investment in research and development for neglected diseases, including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), tuberculosis and malaria.
