Harvesting planktonic stage cells One hundred milliliter of diluted culture was dispensed each in 250 ml conical flasks for two different time points (12 h, 24 h) in triplicates and incubated at 37 °C with shaking at 150 rpm. After proper incubation, the cells were pelleted and washed twice with sterile ice-cold phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) and stored at -80 °C till protein isolation.
