Therefore, available methods for dealing with this phenomenon in DNA microarrays have been used in the kinome array context [13,14]. Among these are the Log2 method [15] and variance-stabilizing normalization (VSN) [16]. These techniques are among the most widely used and studied methods for this purpose in DNA microarray community.
