Epidemiological and clinical studies have shown that migraine is comorbid with a number of diseases including cardiovascular disorders, depression, anxiety, and other pain disorders [1, 9, 10]; and this comorbidity may increase the affected sufferer’s level of disability [11, 12]. Migraine may also share pathophysiological mechanisms with comorbid conditions [12]. However, migraine and its comorbid conditions are usually underdiagnosed and undertreated [13].
