Figure 2 shows our smoothed prevalence rates based on the weighted head-banging procedure. The larger the triple parameter is, the smoother (less rough) the resulting map will be. We have intentionally left the graphic slightly under-smoothed. This is because it is easy to visually smooth variabilities away with the eye, but impossible to recover true fluctuations that are erroneously smoothed away. Thirty triples were used to produce this graphic.
