Restraint The impact of changes in the execution rate for restraint is shown in Fig. 7. With mean proportions of 10, 30, and 50% of total patients restraining their behavior, on average, the number of cases would decrease to 91, 72, and 50% of the baseline, and the peak would be delayed for 11, 43, and 96 days, respectively, compared with the baseline scenario (Table 5). At the same time, the epidemic period would be prolonged with respect to the baseline, which was similar to school closure.
