Sixty-one isolates representing 15 genera and 25 different species including Buttiauxella, Cedecea, Ewingella, Kluyvera, Leminorella, Rahnella, and Yokenella from the strain collection of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were tested by the DD and BMD reference methods using Mueller-Hinton (MH) agar and cation-adjusted MH broth at 35C for 18-20 h.
