Samples were processed by a rapid screening method which allowed detecting of E. coli resistant to ampicillin (AMP), ceftriaxone (CRO), tetracycline (TET), chloramphenicol (CHL), kanamycin (KAN), gentamicin (GEN), amikacin (AMK), streptomycin (STR), trimethoprimsulphamethoxazole (SXT), nalidixic acid (NAL), and ciprofloxacin (CIP).
