In all groups, there were postoperative complications, with emphasis on partial dehiscence of the operative wound, which was diagnosed between postoperative D7 and D9. However, there were no significant differences between groups (Table 2). At the end of the study, three animals had meshoma, one in the polypropylene/polyglecaprone group and two in the polyester/porcine collagen group (Fig. 5). There were no deaths in any of the study groups.
